Does anyone know if there’s a shop at the Ha Long cruise terminal where I can buy a few bottles of wine before boarding? I’d like to have some for my cabin. If so, is the selection decent? Thanks!

You definitely can! Once you enter the main lobby of the terminal building, you'll find some duty-free and local shops selling wine and spirits.
And here’s a tip: it's way cheaper than buying it on the cruise ship! Just make sure to check your ship's policy regarding bringing alcohol on board (some might charge a corkage fee or hold it until the end of the trip), but for sure, the port prices are much better. =))

If you booked a tour, ask agent to bring some local wine!
