Hi everyone,
I’ve been looking into Lan Ha Bay cruises and one of the main things that attracted me was kayaking.
However, I’ve recently seen a few comments saying that kayaking is sometimes restricted or replaced with other activities depending on the situation.
So I’m wondering if kayaking isn’t included, is Lan Ha Bay still worth it?
Does it still feel different enough from Halong Bay without that experience?
Would really appreciate hearing from anyone who’s been recently!
For me, kayaking was actually a big part of the experience.
If it’s not included, I’d personally reconsider or check carefully with the cruise before booking.
You lose that getting close to nature feeling a bit
I think it depends what you’re expecting.
If you go mainly for relaxation, views, and a quieter vibe > still 100% worth it.
If kayaking is your main reason > then yeah, it might feel like something is missing.
the main things that attracted me was kayaking
>> So skip Lan Ha and go to Halong or Bai Tu Long for now at least
What's yr travel time?
I’ve heard that Halong and Hai Phong have recently started working more closely together on tourism (as of early April), so there’s a good chance the kayaking restrictions in Lan Ha Bay might be lifted or eased soon.
If kayaking is something you really care about, it might actually be worth waiting a bit before booking.
Things seem to be changing quite quickly at the moment.
thank you for your replies. I will wait and check it back
Update: Kayaking is ok now with Catamaran https://haiphongtours.com/catamaran-premium-day-cruise
