I’ve heard about Cat Ba Island. Can I visit it during a shore excursion?
VIP PLan 1:
On arrival, transfer to Tuan Chau, get on speedboat to get to Gia Luan, Cat Ba island
Then use car to go around the island such as Hospital cave, Trung Trang cave, Cat Ba national park for hiking to Ngu Lam peak, swim at Tung Thu beach or Cat Co beach. Then the same for the return
Plan 2: Visit Lan Ha bay 2 day 1 night
In this itinerary, day 1, you will visit Lan Ha bay. Day 2, they will transfer you to Cat Ba island by day boat to see Hospital cave or Trung Trang cave
Be aware that in case of bad weather, transportation from/to Cat Ba island could be postpone. No way return and you will miss your cruise.
