I really want to see Lan Ha Bay instead of Halong. Can I get a boat from the International Cruise Port?
Most cruise boats docking at this port only run routes through Halong Bay or Bai Tu Long Bay. If you have your heart set on Lan Ha Bay, you won't find boats departing directly from here.
Instead, you'll need to look for specific cruises like Calypso (overnight) or day cruises like Jade Sails and Catamaran, which depart from Tuan Chau Harbor. The best way to do this is to book a tour in advance such as Halong Bay Shore Excursion. The tour operator will arrange a shuttle to pick you up at the International Cruise Port, drive you to Tuan Chau for your Lan Ha Bay trip, and ensure you are dropped back off at your ship's pier in time for departure.
