Booking in advance is safer, especially during busy cruise days

Basically, you will have 12-30 hours depends on stop or overnight trip. So ideally, plan it in advance not to waste your time

If you just want to spend your time to wander around the port, then no need to book in advance. But if you want to join any shore excursions, book and pay in advance
