My cruise (Celebrity Solstice) will dock in Halong from 7am to 2pm the next day.
I’ve already done Halong Bay before, so this time I’d like to just relax at a really clean and nice beach.
Any recommendations nearby?
If you want something cleaner and nicer, you can consider Phuong Dong Beach in Van Don area.

For a more premium experience, Minh Chau Beach is much better, clearer water and nicer sand. However, Minh Chau requires taking a boat to the island, so it takes quite a bit of time. With your schedule, it’s doable but you’ll need to plan carefully
The closest beaches to the port are Bai Chay Beach and Tuan Chau Beach
They’re easy to access, but in terms of water clarity and sand quality, they are quite average.
If you’re not too picky, they’re fine for a quick visit and some relaxing time
