Hi everyone,
My mother really wants to see a panoramic view of Halong Bay.
I’ve read that Titov Island has a viewpoint at the top, but it also looks like quite a climb.
She’s a senior, so I’m a bit concerned about whether it’s manageable for her.
Are there any lifts or easier ways to get up there?
Or would you recommend skipping it?
Thanks so much!
To be honest, reaching the top of Titov Island does require a decent level of fitness.
Even younger people who aren’t used to physical activity often need to stop multiple times on the way up
There’s no lift or elevator. It’s all stairs.
And it can feel quite intense, especially in hot or windy conditions
The path is actually quite well prepared. There are handrails on both sides and a few resting points along the way, which helps a lot
you don’t have to go all the way to the top. Even from the first or second resting point, you already get a really nice view of the bay. So your mother could just go as far as she feels comfortable
oh it's an ideal option. ty
