I’m looking for a 3 days 2 nights cruise that covers both Halong Bay and Bai Tu Long Bay.

Halong Bay and Bai Tu Long Bay are treated as separate routes, and cruises typically stick to one area due to regulations and logistics
If you want to experience both, you’ll need to combine itineraries yourself.
A common way is:
- 2D1N Bai Tu Long Bay cruise first
- Then a day tour to Halong Bay afterward
There aren’t really day cruises to Bai Tu Long. So it makes more sense to do Bai Tu Long as your overnight trip
Most overnight cruises return to the harbor around 11:30 AM, and you can join a day cruise from there on the same day
That sounds interesting. But what about luggage? Would it be inconvenient to carry everything between tours?
After your overnight cruise, you’ll get all your luggage back at the harbor.
From there, you can bring it onto the day cruise with you.
Most people just keep it near their seat
If you choose a higher quality day cruise, some even offer private room where you can store your luggage more comfortably. Makes the transition much easier
