If you’re passing through Halong cruise port, please be careful — especially around the main lobby area and public restrooms.
While the floor tiles don’t look very slippery at first glance, in reality they can become quite slick, especially when wet. There have been multiple cases of elderly visitors slipping and falling, some even hitting their heads, which can be very dangerous.
If you’re traveling with elderly family members (or if you’re elderly yourself), here are a few tips:
- Wear shoes with good grip (non-slip soles)
- Walk slowly and carefully, especially in high-traffic areas
- Be extra cautious near restrooms and entrances where floors are often wet
Halong Bay is a beautiful destination, but small details like this can affect your trip if you’re not prepared. Stay safe and take your time when moving around the port.
