Just a heads-up for anyone traveling from Hai Phong to Halong today (March 16, 2026). Major roadworks and new traffic diversions in Hai Phong are causing serious delays.
Currently, areas like Nguyen Van Linh street, the road to Dinh Vu port, and several sections near Lac Tray are heavily congested. If you have a cruise or a flight to catch in Halong, please leave at least 30 minutes earlier than planned. Don't let the traffic ruin your schedule!
